- Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated and promote optimal results.
- Limit Alcohol: Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment, as it can increase the risk of swelling and bruising.
- Skincare Routine: Maintain your regular skincare routine, but avoid harsh treatments like chemical peels or facials a few days before the appointment.
- Discuss Allergies: Inform your injector about any allergies, especially to medications or skincare products.
- Arrive with Clean Skin: On the day of your appointment, arrive with a clean face, free of makeup and skincare products.
What to expect after appointment
After an injectable appointment, it’s normal to experience some minor side effects. Here’s what you can generally expect:
- Immediate Results: You may notice changes right away, especially with fillers, while Botox results may take a few days to fully develop.
- Swelling and Bruising: Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites is common and typically resolves within a few days.
- Tenderness: Some sensitivity or tenderness in the treated areas may occur but should subside quickly.
- Avoid Touching: Refrain from touching or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours to minimize the risk of complications.
- Limit Physical Activity: It’s advisable to avoid strenuous exercise and heat exposure (like saunas) for the first 24-48 hours.
- Follow Aftercare Instructions: Adhere to any specific aftercare instructions provided by your injector for optimal results and safety.

I work out of a coworking space called The Aesthetic Edit
Located inside The Aesthetic Edit in St. Albert, the studio was thoughtfully designed to offer a refined, elevated experience from the moment you arrive. With a warm, modern aesthetic and a calm, inviting atmosphere, the space is intended to feel both luxurious and effortlessly comfortable—an environment where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy a moment of self-care.
For your convenience, there are three parking lots surrounding the building, all offering 2-hour complimentary parking. Please be sure to register your vehicle using the QR code located near the elevator upon arrival. Once inside, take the elevator to the 5th floor and proceed to Unit 506. When you enter the space, kindly check in using the tablet on the wall.
You’re welcome to enjoy a coffee, water, or beverage and relax in the waiting area until you’re brought in for your appointment. If you have any difficulty locating the studio, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that life happens! However, to ensure we can accommodate all our clients effectively, we require at least 36 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. If you fail to provide this notice and don't show up a fee of $250 will be charged to cover the missed appointment. If rescheduled in under 36 hours a fee of $100 will be charged and same day $150. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
